PHILOSOPHY

Vanessa likes to explore the world of human emotion and psychology. Introspections of thoughts and experiences, both hers and others', yield a major impact on her music. She is also putting an interest in philosophies of life and time, specifically those from the book of Ecclesiastes, in her second year of college. As an Indonesian, Vanessa also loves Indonesian ethnic music. She longs to explore deeper in the subject and to take part in maintaining it through her musical career.
Composing, arranging, orchestrating and performing music according to its context and origin are what Vanessa always strives to do. She believes that music exists for a cause, and when played with the corresponding interpretation, will contain a powerful influence on those who listen.
